How Much Does a CGM Cost Without Insurance?

CGM cost depends on the exact model, package quantity and wear time. At Paragon Diabetic Supply, examples include $179.99 for a Libre 3 Plus 2-pack and $299.97 for three standard Dexcom G7 sensors. Both represent up to 30 days at full labeled wear; they are not a guarantee of individual sensor life.

Why a 2-pack is not always a month's supply

Use this calculation: number of sensors × labeled wear days = maximum supply days. A pair of 14-day Libre 2 sensors provides up to 28 days, not 30 or 31. Two 15-day Plus sensors provide up to 30 days. Budget for your actual calendar and replacement needs.

At the single-sensor Libre 2 price, a prorated 30-day estimate is $182.12 ($84.99 ÷ 14 × 30). That is a budgeting estimate, not a purchasable package or checkout total. Starting with no sensors, three singles cost $254.97 and provide up to 42 days.

Check the exact model before comparing

Libre 2 Plus and Libre 3 Plus have up to 15-day wear. Standard Libre 2 and Libre 3 have been discontinued; ask about remaining stock and expiration dates. See Abbott's transition details.

Dexcom G7 and Dexcom G7 15 Day are separate models. The 15 Day listing is $149.99 per sensor, or $299.98 for two. Check Dexcom's wear-time and age requirements before comparing them.

Plan a cash-pay purchase

Cash payment does not waive prescription requirements for these sensors. Check compatibility and package contents, then choose quantity and delivery frequency. A subscription interval alone does not tell you how many days of sensors a shipment contains.
