Before starting a sensor
Start the sensor with the device you intend to use for that sensor session. Abbott states that a FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor cannot be used with the reader and app at the same time; switching reading devices requires a new sensor. Follow the instructions supplied with your reader and sensor.
For alarms to work, enable the appropriate settings and keep the sensor within 33 feet of the reader with an unobstructed connection. Charge the reader when its low-battery alert appears.
